Down with wine snobbery. 140 character wine reviews for the people!

Hello Wine Fans! Real Time Wine is doing a trial promotion with GreatWines, a local group buying site for wine. When our new product is out, we're probably going to organise meetups and get the various "status levels" of users to help us review these wines. For now, we're using anyone that's in arms reach :)

There's some more info about Great Wines at the bottom of this post - now head on over to the site and check it out: http://www.greatwines.co.za

At Great Wines , we do what it says on the tin. We find and offer you great wines at great prices and we always will. Our team goes out and finds and negotiates the best prices for really good wines. We mostly spend our days discovering new boutiques wines in the wine lands of the Western Cape, scouring every small wine farm to find you wines that will delight and please the pallet.

Fullscreen

So how does it work? Very easily actually. Each Wine Farm releases a limited amount of cases exclusively to GreatWines at a larger discount. We mark down to the maximum amount for the first week. This will generally be at least 70% of the cellar price.

This first larger discount will only be available for a week and while stock lasts (never more than 100 cases, generally less). After that, you'll be able to get the same wine at about 90% of cellar prices for another 5-6 weeks. So get them while you can.

We believe that being in and among the vineyards gives us the best position to bring you what will delight and we want to share this with you. Happy shopping but more so, enjoy every drop of Great Wine we find for you.
